SF Andalusians was very excited for the foal that would be produced out of our lovely Martys, and the bold stallion Fainero ADP. Fainero's accomplishments include: 2x IALHA National Champion, USPRE Best Bred American Horse, Feria Del Caballo ANCCE Reserve Functionality Champion, and a great example of our breed in the dressage ring both under saddle and in hand.
Rio, as we nicknamed him, is smart and nicely put together. We showed him at the Baroque Horse of the Midwest Regional Show in 2017, where he won Champion Halter Colt, 2 and under. He was purchased shortly after his regional win. Sadly, they were unable to keep him and we took him back a year later. He is now turning into a quiet and dependable saddle horse for Janita.

What a great weekend! Macario has not been to a breed show since he was a two-year-old. He did so well for me! Macario earned Champion Gelding Halter horse, Open and Amateur, handed by me. He was also third place in Trail, third place in Sport Horse In-hand Geldings, and Reserve Champion English Pleasure Hunt Seat Open. He lost the Hunt class to Malagro, so we are still happy. Thank You Howard Peet for catch handling him in the Hunt class!
